米之神又來了!

同樣是吃飯的人們，台灣應該也有米之神吧!

隨著年紀的增長，越來越欣賞寶島台灣樸實的美、深潛的力量。不時欣賞一下，這應該是所有台灣人的精神糧食。

Shiny-leaved Prickly Ash 鳥都不敢踏??

I am very lucky to transplant and grow this evergreen shrub endemic to Taiwan. As this species is becoming rare in the wild, I wonder if it is appropriate to regard it as a tourist attraction. Sometimes, the fame of a plant   rings the bell of death. What I can do is to make sure some of this species will safely and freely grow somewhere in Taiwan.

終於趕在端午節之前把刺花椒分株了，連日來的大雨也沒有將瘦弱的幼苗打壓下去。記得月初剛拿到一整盆的育苗盆時，心裡就開始糾結了。早已過了春季適合移植的氣候，到了時常落大雨的芒種，盆裡的苗多又粗不過筆心，這該如何是好。最後和叔叔討論之後，決定先分株到盆子哩，這樣不但方便照顧和記錄，也可以視生長狀況移動放置的位置。

這樣一來，刺花椒的復育又開始上路了。沒想到，我還蠻喜歡這種天天觀察做紀錄的日子。世間萬物的生長真是妙不可言。

 都擠在一起了，不知道好不好移植。

 葉面小小的凸起，長大之後就是不好惹的刺。身為台灣原生的常綠灌木，也是得有幾把刷子，才能拼了命在野外活下來。

Herbs植物的妙用

Starting learning herbs with teachers, I am amazed by the applications of these herbs and stories told by teachers and wonder if the secrets of plants can be totally revealed by the science. 雖然知道植物對人有許多的好處，卻不知道植物的妙用無窮。這幾個月來，跟著兩位老師從青草店的觀點和中醫的觀點認識植物。老師提到的案例都讓我感到神奇不已，植物的奧秘似乎無法完全以人類短淺的科學經驗解釋。

 所有老師帶來的乾品都聞過、摸過了，對我來說都差不多。看來認真和老師打好關係，才是上策。

國際校園校地聯盟International School Ground Alliance

如果校園裡充滿了樹木、花草、小動物、沙地、水池，那麼還會有討厭學校的孩子嗎?我們這些大人小時後都曾經享受過在草地上奔跑、從樹上跌下來、拿花草扮家家酒，是不是也該讓孩子們享受自然呢?誠如，國際校園校地聯盟的短片裡所說，孩子們的身體需要接近大自然，更重要的是，他們的心靈也渴求著大自然。

御風男孩The boy who harnessed the wind

"Just try". Such an easy sentence but not so easily said by an African boy living with hunger and no schooling.  He reminds us it's time to take actions no matter how little you have on hand.
看完這本書之後，原來擁有最少的人最有可能爆發出無限的可能性。 誠如這本書的作者說的，想成功，就要放手一試。這句話很多人都可以輕易的脫口而出，但是從一個經歷饑荒、沒錢上學的十四歲男孩口中說出，就是不一樣。因為他不屈不撓的嘗試，從垃圾堆裡建造出自己的風力發電機，讓自己的家成為附近鄰居中唯一在黑夜發亮的小屋。

現在他和轉動風車計畫(Moving Windmills Project)和建造組織(buildOn.org)一起重建自己讀過的小學。

世界上許多人擁有多過自己所能使用的資源，卻渾噩度日，甚至貪心地想要更多自己沒有的東西。人心，可以掙扎中勇往直前，也可以在貪嗔癡中淪陷。期許自己能夠放手一試。
